| My
name is Jay Jobes and I started building suspensions in the early
90's while competing in desert and ISDE format off road racing.
At the time I was on a shoestring budget and needed to learn to
do everything myself. Using my own bikes as a test bed, I found out
what worked and what did not.
Over the last few years I got heavily into adventure touring. I found that many of the major suspension
rebuilders did not truly understand the special needs of the adventure tourer. I set out to fill this gap.
I specialize in rebuilding and customizing stock shocks. In most
cases I completely gut the internals replacing them with valving
from high end after market companies. I then put new springs on
suited for the owner's needs and set everything up for them personally.
In the end you will receive a shock that will rival much more
expensive units for a fraction of the cost.
I can even modify shocks that are otherwise unrebuildable by
machining then welding in ports for nitrogen charges. I have been
doing this on Vstrom, Tiger 1050, Tiger 900, and BMW F650 shocks with great success.
I strive to run my
business on service, something that is lacking today. All my work
carries a full year, unlimited mileage warranty. I will do anything
I can to make my customers 100% satisfied.
